Depart from the camp after breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro, bring a picnic lunch box into the crater for a game drive. Often referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted and the volcanic walls collapsed. The bottom of the volcano sank, forming a natural enclosure whose walls are 600m high. Today, the Ngorongoro Crater is more than 19 kilometers wide and is dotted with acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps and open grasslands. These diverse habitats are home to more than 30,000 species of animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent birds, the rare black rhino and all predatory cats. You can also see Maasai grazing beside buffalo and wildebeest. Depart the park in the late afternoon and drive to the camp for dinner and overnight (full board)

After breakfast, game drive in Tarangire Park with packed lunch provided. Covering almost 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire National Park is probably best known for its large populations of elephants and baobabs. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River that runs through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June-November) as the concentration of wildlife rivals that of the Serengeti (as large numbers of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as part of its the only source of water). With diverse habitats and the permanent water supply of the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and over 500 species of birds.
